From one-to-watch to leader of the pack, Julian Jordan’s rapid ascent through the dance music world has been
something to behold. It’s no surprise given the fresh quality of his productions, which always surprise and delight
in equal measures. Not beholden to tired formulas or following the latest trend, he instead paves his own way
with innovative rhythms, atypical riffs and endlessly inventive production creating a typical Julian Jordan high
energy sound.
With a nomination for Best Dutch Act at the MTV EMAs and joining the likes of Tiësto and Calvin Harris in
holding a monthly residency at Las Vegas’ prestigious Omnia, he's certainly earned his status as a sought-after
DJ. Julian's commitment to energetic and cutting-edge shows has made him a regular at world-leading festivals
like Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and Ultra Miami, but also sent him on crazy summer tours playing stages at
Sziget, Mysteryland, Lollapalooza and many more even ensuring a top 20 spot as most booked artist worldwide
2022.
Having made his name with a slew of anthems on scene-leading labels like Spinnin Records, DOORN records
and Revealed Recordings, he is now part of the STMPD RCRDS family and officially signed to Martin Garrix’s
label. He has shown great diversity with his releases on the label, covering peak-time anthems and hard-hitting
clubbangers within his characteristic “hyper house” sound as lovingly proclaimed by his dedicated fanbase.
Nowadays this “hyper house” moves organically towards “hyper techno” with the support of all genres and dj’s
from Michael Bibi and Wade to Tiësto and Hardwell. It’s easy to say that since signed to STMPD, Julian stirred
things up from the very beginning by releasing hard-hitting tracks like ‘Bassline’, ‘Next Level’ and TikTok viral
track “Oldskool”, a perfect depiction of how Julian mastered the craft of producing cutting-edged bangers to
establish his name definitively as biggest electro house artist at this moment.
The successful projects, record breaking sold out secret showcases, record number of releases and a dozen
tracks all claiming the top spot at Beatport’s top 100 Electro House (some of them even for several consecutive
months) definitely took his sound and profile to another level. Rising on the DJMag top 100, on which he’s
currently ranked #60, for 4 years in a row never, entering the top 100 producers 2022 at #35 and always driven to
give people an unforgettable and unique show with his high energy performance and his own signature sound.
After collabs with friends like Timmy Trumpet, Tiësto and Martin Garrix and smooth crossovers he even became
the first EDM artist ever to receive approval from the legendary eighties group "Tears for Fears" to remix the
classic "Shout" which climbed the charts for several months worldwide. And with one of the industry’s biggest
releases of 2021 'Diamonds' together with Martin Garrix and Tinie Tempah Jordan made clear he is here to stay.
The past year almost everything that Jordan touched turned into gold; besides that all his releases reached that
#1 spot trending track and top newcomer, Jordan also did two massive collaborations; one with biggest LDH star
Alan Shirahama (“Facts”) and the other again with Martin Garrix (Funk, already his fifth collaboration with Garrix),
Jordan brought that typical Hyper House music to the mainstages. With “Rudeboy” and “Juice” as new releases,
the EP of Hyper House and “Vibe”, “Noise”, and “The Bass” being very strongly supported by all genres and dj’s,
it’s a fact that he pushed his 2022 touring schedule to one of the busiest in the industry
His advice to aspiring producers is simple: be yourself. “Always try to create the music you want to create and
don’t care too much about what other people say about your music. If it’s something that you are proud of that’s
the only thing that matters, because you created it.” These wise words have served him very well indeed and
given the upward trend of recent years, so a lot can be expected from Julian Jordan in 2023..
