Multi-BRIT Award nominated, London-based DJ/producer and Kiss FM resident Joel Corry has spent the last 10 years playing clubs right across the UK and Europe. Growing up during the peak of the UK Garage era, Joel’s early musical influences included iconic figures like Todd Edwards, MJ Cole and DJ EZ, who continue to influence his musical output to this day.He joined Kiss FM in 2017, where he hosts a weekly specialist show every Saturday night.Joel’s platinum-selling breakthrough single ‘Sorry’ spent 10 weeks in the UK Top 10 in 2019, peaking at #6, and broke Shazam’s all-time daily record in the UK after receiving over 41,000 tags in one 24-hourperiod. He has since followed it up with furtherplatinum hit singles ‘Lonely’, which peaked at #4, andthe double-platinum‘Head & Heart’featuring MNEK, which scored Joel his first ever UK #1 and was officially verified the longest-running consecutive #1 record of 2020 after spending six weeks in top spot.It wasalsolater named the UK’s Biggest Dance Single of 2020 by the Official ChartsCompany.Joel followed up the success of ‘Head & Heart’ with ‘BED’ in March 2021 –a three-pronged collaboration with singer-songwriter RAYE and legendary DJ/producer, David Guetta. It peaked at #3 on the UK Singles Chartto earn Joel his third UK Top 5 single in a row.The release of ‘BED’ coincided with the announcement of Joel’s 3x 2021 BRIT Award nominations, earning nodsfor British Single (‘Head & Heart’ft. MNEK), Male Solo Artist and Breakthrough Artist, which made Joelthe joint-highest nominatedact of the entire awardsalongside Dua Lipa. He has since been nominated for a further 2x 2022 BRIT Awards, both for Song Of The Year (‘BED’ w/ RAYE & David Guetta) and Best Dance Act, taking his total number of BRIT nominations to five.
